Data we collect

Roigle Media only collects the data you provide:

• Newsletter : your email address, when you choose to subscribe.
• Contact form : your name, email address and the content of your message.
• User account : username, email address and an encrypted password, if you create an account.
• Contributions : the text and images you submit to the newsroom.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to:

• send you the newsletters you have subscribed to;
• answer the requests you send through the contact form;
• run your account and your saved articles;
• process the contributions you submit to the newsroom.

What we do not do

Your data is never sold, rented, or passed to third parties for commercial purposes.

No advertising profile is built from your browsing.

Audience measurement and advertising

The site currently loads no audience-measurement script and no advertising network. We prefer to say so plainly rather than declare processing we do not carry out.

Should audience measurement or advertising ever be switched on, it would happen only after your explicit consent, collected through the banner provided for that purpose, and this page would be updated beforehand.

How long we keep it

• Newsletter data : until you unsubscribe.
• Contact messages : 12 months.
• User account : until the account is deleted.
• Consent choice : 6 months, after which you are asked again.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• the right to access your personal data;
• the right to rectification;
• the right to erasure, known as the “right to be forgotten”;
• the right to data portability;
• the right to object to processing;
• the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

Exercising your rights

Write to contact@roigle.com, or use the Right to be forgotten page to request deletion of your data. We reply within one month.
